Sustaining Healthy Relationships
Developing Essential Skills for Healthy Relationships
Early intervention and relationship education can help develop skills and tools to sustain healthy relationships, while managing the rough and tumble that can appear in even the most strong connections with partners, friends, family and our relationship with ourselves. By focusing on maintaining healthy relationships, we give individuals and communities the essential tools and support they need to navigate conflicts, resolve relationship issues and strengthen their bonds.
Breaking Down Barriers to Healthy Connections
Moreover, we understand that there is still a stigma in talking about relationships and that some people believe ‘what goes on behind closed doors should remain so’. However, we believe that it is time for a cultural change in Northern Ireland and we intend to be at the heart of that change. Therefore, to break down these barriers and create a supportive environment where everyone may thrive in healthy connections, open dialogue and relationship education are essential.
Our Initiatives: Relationship Education Across Northern Ireland
Our Sustaining Healthy Relationships project offers relationship education sessions for community groups across Northern Ireland. These sessions aim to provide participants the relevant skills and knowledge required to improve their personal connections and foster a culture of positive interactions and mutual respect.
