Respectful Relationships
Early intervention and relationship education can help develop skills and tools to sustain healthy relationships, while managing the rough and tumble that can appear in even the most strong connections with partners, friends, family and our relationship with ourselves.
‘Respectful Relationships’ challenges societal myths and norms perpetuating gender-based violence delivered in a way that doesn’t shame. It changes attitudes, behaviours and culture in the lived experience of women. It promotes respectful relationships and an understanding of the differences between challenging relationships and those rooted in harms. It focuses on tools to navigate conflicts, resolve relationship issues and strengthen bonds. It reduces barriers by creating a supportive group where participants focus on developing self-worth and confidence building in relationships. Thus, ensuring females are safe and feel safe everywhere by providing relationship information so
unhealthy behaviours can be challenged long term.
